The tempo is slow. Each note has space. But the silence between the sounds isn’t lonely—it’s safe. It’s where you get to just be. English Title: Chryseara for Solo Vibraphone Japanese Title: ソロビブラフォンのための「クリシアラ」 『Chryseara（クリシアラ）』は、「crystal（水晶）」と「sea（海）」を組み合わせた造語で、「幻想的な水晶の海」を意味します。 透き通る水の向こうに、静かにきらめく水晶のかけらたち。 海底で輝き、あるいは水の中で軽やかに舞うその姿は、まるで静かな夢の中の風景のよう。 その海を、ただ眺めるだけでなく、思わず潜って触れてみたくなる――そんな情景を思い描きながら作曲しました。 この曲は、アンサンブルに苦手意識をもつ人のためのソロ作品です。 「みんなと同じようにできなくても、音楽は楽しんでいい」 「アンサンブルが難しいと感じたら、ひとりで音を奏でる時間を大切にしてもいい」 そんな気持ちを込めて、ひとりでも心地よく演奏できるように丁寧に音を紡ぎました。 ひとりで音楽と向き合う時間が、あなたにとって小さな冒険になりますように。 "Chryseara" is a coined word combining crystal and sea, evoking the image of a “fantastical sea of crystal.” Imagine clear water through which delicate crystals shimmer—some dancing freely underwater, others resting like hidden treasures on the ocean floor. There were only trees and snow around me. No people. No sound. It was so still, I wasn’t even sure if it could really be called a “town.” This piece was born from that image—of wandering into a silent, unfamiliar place. It’s a little lonely, but also calm, and somehow comforting. I tried to capture that feeling in the music. I wrote this for those who feel out of place in an ensemble. You don’t always have to blend in. It’s okay to make music on your own. Even if no one else is playing with you, your sound still matters.
