…夜の海は、思っているよりも静かだった。
波の音だけが、遠くから近くへとゆっくりと寄せてくる。
灯りは少なく、境界はあいまいで、
どこまでが空で、どこからが海なのか分からなくなる。
ただ、そこにいるだけで、時間の輪郭がほどけていく。

しばらく耳を澄ましていると、変わっていないようでいて、
ほんのわずかに揺れているものがあることに気づきます。
この作品は、そんな「何も起きていないような時間」をそっとすくい上げたものです。

うまく馴染めないと感じるときや、言葉にならない静けさの中にいるとき、
それでも世界はそのまま続いていきます。
変わらないものと、揺れているもの。
そのあいだで、ただ耳を澄ましているだけでもいいのかもしれません。

やがて音が引いていくとき、そこに何が残っているのかは、
それぞれの中に委ねられています。


...The sea at night is quieter than expected.
Waves move slowly, coming closer and going away again.
There is little light, and the line between sky and water fades.
It becomes hard to tell where one ends and the other begins.
Just being there, time starts to feel soft and unclear.

As you keep listening, you may notice something small.
It feels unchanged, and yet it is gently moving.
This piece holds a moment where almost nothing happens.

When it feels hard to fit in, or when silence has no clear shape,
the world still continues as it is.
You can stay between what moves and what does not, and simply listen.

When the sound fades away, what remains is left open, quietly, within you.

グレード / Grade: 3

本楽譜のグレード表記は、大手出版社の基準とは異なり、習熟に必要な練習期間も加味した独自基準に基づいています。
たとえば、グレード3は「演奏経験 約3〜4年程度の奏者」向けで、十分な演奏に至るには通常1ヶ月程度の練習期間を想定しています。
