この曲は「合わせない」という選択を否定もせず、かといって
無理に肯定することもなく、そのあいだに静かに立ち続ける感覚から生まれました。

周りの音にうまく溶け込めないと感じる瞬間や、
空気に少し遅れているような居心地の悪さ。
同じテンポで進むことが、なぜか苦しく感じてしまう時間や、
呼吸だけが置き去りになるような感覚。

この曲は、そうした言葉にならない違和感や戸惑いを、
整えず、そのまま音にしています。

揃っていない音には、間違いがあるわけでも、
正解から外れているという意味でもありません。
ただ、それぞれの音に、それぞれ違う速さと呼吸があり、
同じ場所にいなくても存在しているだけです。

この曲の中では、無理に前へ進む必要はなく、
立ち止まっても、遅れても、そのままで許されています。

あなた自身の間で、あなた自身の感覚を信じて鳴らされる音。
その不揃いさこそが、この曲の中心です。


This piece was written from the quiet idea of choosing not to align—neither denying that choice, nor forcing it to be something admirable, but simply standing still in the space between.

There are moments when blending into the surrounding sound feels difficult, when you sense yourself slightly out of sync with the air around you.
Times when moving at the same tempo feels strangely heavy, as if your breath has been left behind.

This music holds those unspoken discomforts and uncertainties, leaving them untouched and letting them exist as sound.

Notes that do not line up are not mistakes, nor are they signs of being incorrect or incomplete.
Each sound carries its own pace and its own breath, existing even when it is not in the same place as others.

Within this piece, there is no need to push forward—you are allowed to stop, to lag behind, to remain where you are.

The sound you play in your own time, trusting your own sense of space, and its quiet unalignment, is the very center of this music.
